Fit and Sizing

When taking measurements for this dress, we recommend paying attention to bust and rib cage measurements. Waist and hip measurements are not as important for Ginger because of the empire cut. Ginger is an excellent dress for all figures because it is loose in the stomach and waist. This makes it comfortable, free flowing, and easy to wear.

We recommend Ginger for bridesmaids who are expecting because the fullness in the waistline is great for maternity wear. We recommend that pregnant women go up two sizes, depending on the stage of pregnancy. Additional fabric is available for order if needed to add to the waistline and/or sides.

Fabric and Care

Ginger is made from a chiffon fabric which is comfortable to wear and similar in quality to silk, but much easier to clean and care for. This dress is dry clean optional, but can also be washed regularly at home on a delicate cycle. Best of all, the exceptional quality of the chiffon means Ginger will hold up over multiple washes so you can make the most of your dress.
